(no subject)
so, it's 2:00 AM, and i'm in my room when i hear a rather loud noise from the main living area of my apartment. i figure it's the cats fooling around out there, so i take my time getting up to go check what it is. when i get out there, i only see talula (female cat) staring at the ceiling, and then i catch a flutter at the ceiling out of corner of my eye. I look up, and i see a bird flying around, inside my apartment. so, i grab a towel and start "urging" him out of the patio door, which i opened for his benefit. He must have flown in through the chimney. anyhoo, he eventually lands on a piece of ribbon which is placed along the top of the door to Annika's room. i snapped a picture before i snuck up behind him, quickly grabbed him with the towel, wrapped him gently in it, and released him outside. it was quite an adventure. here's the pic:
