(no subject)
i will now transcribe a dialogue which actually happened in the cafeteria during lunch yesterday. This happened while Alicia and Jessica were talking and eating, and Hal (a teacher of mine) was standing at the salad bar with an unknown man:
Jessica: (gesturing towards hal) hey! is that hal's partner?
Alicia: (with her back to Hal, jokingly sarcastic) no, it's brendan fraser.
Jessica: (looking closer) oh my god! it is!
Alicia: (turning around) oh my god! it actually is!
the amazing part of this story is NOT that brendan fraser came to my school yesterday, but that alicia was able to sense his presence in the room without even seeing him. wow.
he came again today and gave a nicely inspirational Q and A session in one of the classrooms for the theater students. He's a funny guy. he looks tired, though.
Later, he came into my Acting class to observe. i meditated next to george of the jungle. that's a claim i never thought i would be able to make. i also got to act like a circus freak in front of him for part of one of the class activities.
so, to recap:
alicia is amazing, brendan is funny and tired, and i'm a circus freak.
