And it wasn't a bad day, but...

It sure did add up.

Roman (Gavin) had his first radiation treatment. I definitely got a little weepy because it's scary. There's no certainty that this will help, and there's some chance it makes it worse. I am glad Adam is able to be there at the first few radiation appointments, but I honestly don't know what this would look like without Adam's parents' help. Roman has so many appointments, and his day-to-day needs are worsening.

I wish I was able to help more, but the best I can do at this point is try to be self-sufficient in my own sickness journey. In addition to having chemo this week, I went in for a mammogram/ultrasound because my doctors are trying to get these baseline scans in place in case my current cancer ever tries to appear elsewhere and learned that I have to have a biopsy. It's mostly just to put a marker in one place of note for the future, but it's still a biospy and just one more thing to do on this journey.

Then dad delivered some not fun health news. He wasn't quite clear on the details, but basically, he has an abdominal tumor that will have to be removed and perhaps some colon issues. It wasn't a very clear communication, so I might have these details a little wrong. But it's not great.

I hated missing Aidan's Celebrity Teacher night and see his scoring the winning run, but my cold sensitivity is pretty intense on treatment weeks. And then all the stuff above.
