Just a couple of things for today...

Nick finally got offered a job last week that he'd been chasing for the last couple of weeks at a company that actually works really closely with mine - they bottle our herbs. It's as an admin. assistant and he starts tomorrow at 8am... which kind of sucks because he's out near Paseo and Jefferson, whereas I'm much closer to home and don't have to be to work until 9am.

Hence, I'm going to be trying to ride my bike to work starting tomorrow morning... well, not all the way from here to there, but on the bike path along the arroyo from where it starts just north of UNM to Commanche. It seems like it's going to be around 3.5 miles, and I have an hour to do it, so I think I'll be fine. Also, I have solid innertubes now (thanks for the advice, sjester!) and will not be stopped by goatheads.

Otherwise, work is going fine, albeit busy and sometimes annoying mostly due to a couple of people there. Overall, though, it's a good place to be and I'm happy about it. I have been having a major mispeaking problem lately, though -- we sell our own herbal tablets, as well as various other products, including lots of acupuncture needles. Last week I had two situations where instead of saying "needles" I said "noodles"... like, "your backordered noodles have come in." Very bad and apparently incredibly funny to everyone sitting around me. Ack, I hope I'm over this one and it reminds me of a girl I used to work with at the bookstore who was always terrified she'd answer the phone and spontaneously yell NIPPLE CLAMPS! Still not sure why she had that particular fear.

On to family, I talked to my mom today for mother's day and everything seems fine there. My dad is supposed to be having a doctor's appointment this month to check on how his meds are working, so I need to find out about that. And finally, amordemono has been in Argentina for almost three months now -- I can't believe how fast the time is going! Hope you're doing well and post some more pics!
