Can we stop distinquishing Oscar Pistorius's opponents as "able-bodied" in comparison to him?
Someone capable of running at an Olympic level is plenty "able-bodied" no matter how many prosthetics he's wearing. Trust me on this. Physical differances aside, he's definately not "disabled."
It's just irritating to constantly be hearing the term "able-bodied" in this instance, like he's not proven that he's just as capable of competing at the same level as any other olympic runner.
Sorta like the flak about Gabby Douglas's hair. Sheesh! She's an amazing athlete and cute as a button to boot. Who gives a flip about her hair? There's not a thing wrong with her hair and it has not a damn thing to do with her abilities!
