So, watching the TNG episode The Perfect Mate earlier, and it suddenly hits me...
Why didn't they just find a Federation ship with an all-female crew or at least one where the majority of the crew is female?
I mean, Kamala seems to have no attraction to women, right? Seems the quickest way to solve your problem, yeah?
Also, I'm imagining the maintanence crew's reaction to Riker's post-self-cockblocking comment, "Riker to bridge. If anyone needs me, I'll be in Holodeck 4."
"Dammit! We just got it cleaned up in there after the last time he and Counselor Troi had a fight!"
Plus, way to be subtle about your "personal time" there, Will. Ain't no one gonna go anywhere NEAR that holodeck till clean-up's done.
