There is much bouncing and giggling. It was fun. I was being all calm and friendly and professional on the phone while thanking the hiring manager while simultaneously bouncing and silently chanting, "Yes! YES!"

I do try to be adorably dorky on occasion.

Oh, absolutely. I'm quite relieved. I would've found a way to deal, but this certainly makes things MUCH more doable.

Working at Panera. Cashiering for now and possibly being trained as one of the caterers.

I agree, not the most glamourous job on earth, but it's work for a fairly cool company and in really rather pleasant surroundings. And work is definately important.
