Aside from the crap currently residing in my throat, I'm actually feeling a lot better. Sleep helped and cold medication is keeping the fever down, so I'm no longer feeling like death warmed over.
And, of course, SG-1 marathons always help.
But, yeah, feeling so feverish and chilled at work that I'm not sure if I'm going to barf, pass out, or do both by the end of my shift is a bad thing. Not helped by the fact that I've been convinced for the past two days that I've actually just been having allergies, so I've just been taking antihistimines rather than something that would help with a fever.
Suffice to say, by the time I got home, I was running a fever of over 100 degrees and I wanted nothing more than to be very, very unconcious for a while.
Sprawling on the couch in scrubs and a denim jacket with your contacts still in? Not really all that comfortable, honestly.
But hey, I did pick up a neat book of short stories all set at DragonCon, so that's rather nifty.
