Poetry in motion
Went to the Poetry in motion thing tonight. Was way cool. More improtantly, i confirmed the piercing deal with my mother, now, she is bound by her word. (Score one for happy teenager!)
No frisbee today...bum rap.
But when i took the recycling out a little bit ago, i got to see something that no matter how many times i see it, it never gets old. The moon. But it was just gorgeous, the sky was pretty much clear save for a few clouds around it, like they had literally swept over the moon itself and snagged on the edges, tearing the misty blueish greyness like cotton candy over the indigo cap of sky. And it was studded with stars, so few (because of city lights ect.) just freckled sparingly over its face. I love the sky. Its so multi-faceted and ever changing, it always fits my mood and its just...comforting.
