Ahhhhhhhh
That's the sound of me relaxing. It feels so good to finally get a chance to do that; the past few weeks have been so hectic that's it's nice to catch my breath. Today, I had the house to myself for the afternoon while Mac took Katie to the pool and I didn't have to do anything I didn't want to do. I did a little sewing, a little knitting, snacked on too much junk food, did some more sewing and knitting. It was heavenly, I tell you, heavenly.
And would you like to know the best part about relaxing today? It was guilt free. For far too long I've put off properly cleaning my house. It's been a real mess, and I've turned a blind eye to it, but not without feeling a twinge of guilt when I'd sit down to sew or knit knowing that my time would be better spent cleaning. Well, yesterday Mac, Katie and I cleaned the house from top to bottom. It feels so good to have it done and today I could relax without thinking of all the other things I should be doing! Is there a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? I think not! :)
