Poem
With a broken smile
and watery eyes
the brokenhearted girl
looks up to the the sky
She thinks about what could have been
she thinks about the past
she opens her heart and asks the moon
"Why didn't it last?"
She thinks about their happy times
she thinks about the bad
she thinks about their friendship
and then starts to get real sad
She knows its for the best
she knows it would never work out
but it hurts all the same
all she wants to do is shout.
"How could you do that?"
"How could you hurt me like this?"
"How could you tell me you love me
then destroy me with one final kiss?"
He walked away
he never looked back
her heart fell to pieces
with one final "CRACK"
She closes her eyes
thinks "This has got to end"
she swallows back her tears
then says "Goodbye my friend"
