I was asked last night, about my expectations for an upcoming trip. Well a trip I hope to make. The question just struck me funny. Oddly enough, I don't have any *real* expectations. The only thing I would like...maybe even hope for is a chance to be happy. Even if just for a short while *shrug* That is alot for me to even think about, let alone

I agree with you in the fact that expectations can cause emotional distress. Although I do disagree with your statement suggesting that if someone works hard enough and wants something bad enough they *will* get it. I wish this was true, but I honestly don't believe it. Life isn't fair, and I (as well as many others) have experienced this firsthand
