After the sectionals, everything just exploded. All those lies, feeling and stress erupted and left everything the way it is now.
Rachel is trying to find a fitting name for it for hours now. She supposed she was happy for a while. Quinn finally admitted that Puck is the father and after Finn came to sectionals and behaved like a true leader, he saved them all. And then they were kinda dating, then he broke up with her and then she met Jesse. Now he wants her back, Rachel feels like she is drowning.
She wants the confusion to go away.
Not that she would ever admit it, but sometimes Rachel likes the anonymity of the crowd, of not being popular. She walks through the halls unnoticed and sometimes, when she manages to avoid any slushie shower, she enjoys it.
On her way for her Biology class, she comes down the small hall where Miss Pillsbury’s office is. Rachel isn’t a curious person but the glassy wall invites you to look. She sees Mr. Schuester there; he sits in front of Miss Pillsbury, her small hand hidden in his.
Rachel finds in cute and takes a quicker step but something makes her turn and her Glee coaches face comes to her view. She wonders if this is like love looks like.

Despite all that drama, Will feels peaceful. The apartment feels lonely without Terri but all those lies buried every single feeling he once had for her. It was just too much, too much to hide and too much for him to take.
But there is Emma, his sweet Emma. She may have her own issues but he doubted she could fake pregnancy just to keep him. If Will wants to be really honest to himself, he isn’t sure if his feeling toward Emma are more than friendly. She was just his friend and he was happy about that but when he found out about her crush and then all that mess with wedding came, suddenly he wanted her.
He really hoped his feeling are true, he couldn’t bear if he hurt her. She was his friend, the most precious one.

“Where is everyone?” Rachel asked when she entered the classroom right on time, like always, and found there just Mr.Schue folding note papers on the piano. He raised his head and looked at her surprisingly.
“There is Pop Idol special on the TV, they all went home to watch,” he answered and sat behind the piano when he finally found notes he was looking for.
Rachel just stood there looking like he just said that others were kidnapped by aliens.
“Am I the only one who cares about improving of this merry group?!”
She was angry, really angry. She knew she had a complicated personality, but this was just plain audacity! They have regionals ahead of them and they go home to watch TV!
“Probably,” Mr. Shue answered from his spot and Rachel came closer asking: “And you don’t mind?”
He laughed and turned toward her on the bench. “Of course I do, Rachel. But I didn’t have anything to say as they only sent Brittany to inform me they aren’t coming.”
“Clever,” Rachel mumbled and he laughed again, exactly.
He motioned toward her. “So you are free to go, too.”
She looked as she is thinking about it but then she suddenly removed her backpack and sat next to him on the bench. Rachel wasn’t used to talking or socializing beyond the normal daily communication but here she was now all alone with Mr.Schue and she couldn’t let this opportunity let go unused.
Rachel felt that Mr. Schuester doesn’t like her like the rest of the Glee kids and she didn’t understand that. She was the one insisting on practicing more often, she had most ideas and she helped with choreography, but it didn’t seem to change a thing.
She felt stupid for wanting to talk about that with him but that never stopped her before.
“Mr.Schue, could I talk with you about something?”
He turned around and looked at her. Her voice was in its quietest tone which was very strange for her. Will hoped she didn’t get her crush back that was an episode he didn’t like to deal with. Despite his attitude, he liked Rachel, she knew what she wanted even when she usually ignored the rest of the kids. She may be concentrated just on herself but she managed to prove she could be a good friend too.
“Sure, Rachel. What’s bothering you?” he asked and touched softly the piano, first melody startled her.
She looked nervous what aroused the suspicion she wants to talk about the crush.
“I know this sounds a little stupid but I just want to ask why don’t you like me,” his pupils widened and Rachel quickly continued stopping his train of thoughts. “I didn’t mean like a woman, I’m over that phase, just as a student, friend.”
The last word was just something above a whisper and Will suddenly realized that it all did look like he didn’t like her. The problem was he didn’t know how to explain himself. She pissed him off more than once, she kept pointing mistakes he made, others made, she was sometimes too energetic, too optimistic and after a morning fight with Terri, he just couldn’t listen to her.
He hurt her, more than once and now is the chance to make it better.
“I’m sorry; Rachel if I did something that hurt you. I’m not perfect I make mistakes and I did obviously manage to make it look that way that I don’t like you, which is not true, because I do.”
Will looked sideways at her hoping that he chose his words wisely. She didn’t look hurt instead she smiled brightly.
“Thank you Mr. Schue, for saying that.”
Her smile was infectious and he bumped his shoulder to hers and again realized that he really did keep distance from her. The question that bothered him was why.
Rachel didn’t let him think about it because she leaned to look at the papers. “What are you working on?” She asked and looked from the papers to him. Will originally planned to send her away to finish his work alone but having her here and heard her opinion didn’t have to be a bad option.
“I’m working on another mash up, something new we can use for regionals,” Will answered leaning back and starting to play.
Rachel looked intrigued.
“Great, go on.”
He smiled at her and she smiled back and then it all began.

Something changed; Quinn could put a finger on it. Finn was still staring starry eyed at Rachel, Santana still kept texting through the whole rehearsal and Puck was still observing her belly. But the room felt different, like their win at sectionals and the new world they entered didn’t quite work.
It certainly didn’t work for her. She was glad that all secrets are out but she was missing one thing, or a person to be precise. Quinn missed Finn, yes she did cheat on him and lie to him about the parentage of her baby but she loved him.
She may be a pretty vain person but loving Finn made her feel herself. He didn’t care if she was at cheerleading squad and gained two pounds. He still looked at her like she was the most beautiful girl in the world. But now she was looking like that at Rachel.
Quinn hated Rachel, at least at first, but she understood, she hurt him, Rachel adored him. It was normal he turned toward her.
She looked at the diva trying to understand what was so special about her. Yes, she has beautiful voice but she is weird and dresses funny. Now she was moving in the rhythm, her shoulders leaning forward toward Mr. Schue.
Wait, that was new. Mr. Schue always behaved toward Rachel a bit different like toward the rest. Quinn though it’s because of Rachel’s diva attitude. But today he suddenly lost it. The strange tension disappeared and Rachel was any other student.
It wouldn’t be at all interesting but she had a feeling she can use it. She wanted Finn back, Finn wanted Rachel and Rachel was dating Jesse. But Jesse was just a name without face. But Mr. Schue was right in front of them and something like an affair with a teacher could tarnish Rachel in Finn´s eyes perfectly.
Quinn smiled as a plan began to form inside of her mind.
