Is it the little bell that makes my ship a little too canon?
* Yep, I expected a lot from the Sanctuary episode "The Depth", these Helen-Will-are-wet-and-in-fatal-danger are definitely my favorites.And I love they include one in every season :) But they weren't wet in Carentan?, anyway, onto "The Depth".
* I came to LJ shipping Helen and Will, the first fic I posted was Helen/Will and I wrote the most of them for this pairing. They are my OTP of OTPs and I squeed hard through this episode.
I wrote before that I worry because of Abby, that she is changing him but in this ep I realized it might not be the case. Yes, they talked about her but in the end, when they were clearing the air, Will wasn't angry and frustrated she endangered his girlfriend´s life but because she didn't let him in her top-secret plan which btw. makes me so fucking curious, I want to know already.
Will was frustrated because she was shutting him down, he really tries to understand what she came through those solitary 113 years, but he simply cannot, he is only human and Helen Magnus is not. But he tries, he really tries and to be honest, its good that the water made him speak his mind so freely. If he would be hiding his real thoughts, it could strain their relationship even more and now they have a chance to heal.
Squee moments:
* the "I gave all my days to you" comment, and her quiet "I think about it everyday". Do you realize where were similar words were spoken? Doctor Who's "The Girl Who Waited"! My favourite episode ever! And it had very much the same context, I would call it proof.
* when she forced him to drink the water. She cares for him so much that she would rather than he hate her than lose him. "life is not a popularity contest". Yeah, very much so.
* when Will acted very Magnus-like and wasn't under the influence of the water. Yes, copy and love, copy and love. And her worried face, she had her on way too many times.
* the last scene. "Partners". Did you see the look on her face? She just might have been thinking what all of us wanted it too mean and it reminded me too much of the scene in Pavor Nocturnus when Will said "we had a child together" and Helen obviously thought he means the two of them. I just think Amanda ships it too but didn't want to admit it just yet.
* all the angst-driven things he threw in her face when he was under the influence. Please all Will haters, try to understand Will would never ever hurt Magnus on purpose, never! I am a sucker for angst and this literally broke my heart over again and then few times more.
* THE KISS. I will go into grave swearing she went for the mouth, did you see that look? DID YOU SEE THAT LOOK? He was about to die and she would do anything to prevent it, anything, does it tell you something?
Basically I loved it, loved it more than anything and I just might need few rewatches and this ep very much could replace Requiem as my favorite episode. Also, I know there was Henry too and I love him but when such things are happening, anything else is not important.
