*clings* I have so much HATE for Tumblr right now. Where the hell is my speech bubble? I don't see one anywhere. I can't figure out how to reply to posts, much less reply to a reply. After now two and a half hours of googling the shit out of it. And installing missing e. And eating half a box of raw brownie mix in frustration. I'm closing

I find it so funny that we've all been hanging around LJ for so long that most of the people I "know" over here no longer share fandoms with me. But fandom is a huge circle - we always come back to overlap, and in the meantime, there are endless other things to talk about. Like tea!
I love tea. I drink nothing else. Except my daily smoothie that I make, but I buy no drinks at the store whatsoever. Good thing, groceries are expensive enough! Well, if I say decaf tea I mean icky decaf black tea (which I put milk in). I only drink it when I want milky tea but it's night and don't want the caffeine. I drink milky (regular) black tea in the morning. And all through the day, I drink flavored varieties of red, white, and green tea, with one or two herbals thrown in. For the same reasons you do. I'm not generally an herbal fan. It's not real tea. *snob* Right now, I'm loving this raw green rooibos with black currant and cardamon, along with a red tea that's got orange and vanilla. (Both Republic of Tea brand - do you have?) I drink heaps of jasmine green tea and prolly my absolute fave is genmaicha. I drink tons of it, every day.
Oh. The nice thing about AO3, among other things, is that unlike with LJ, the stats keep coming. It's bad because the commenting culture isn't the same, but good because even years later, you can see if people are still interested. And that's nice. My Reboot fic is being read a lot right now because of the movie, and it's fun to wake up every morning to kudos on things I wrote months or years ago.

Haha, I love tea. I'm pretty sure I could apply for a British passport based on tea consumption. We generally have black tea in the morning (Kim has it all day, actually, but I like red in the evenings) and I also quite like chai. I don't think Republic of Tea is out here, but we do get some lovely ones from T2 (http://t2tea.com/?v=1). I'm a big fan of their fruit tisanes in the summer, especially the Turkish Apple and we go through a fair bit of the Melbourne Breakfast/Madagascan Vanilla as well. And I do love a good green tea. We've got a sencha at the moment from another company, QT, but T2 have a gorgeous one called Buddha's Tears. And the Ooolong varieties are also wonderful. ALL THE TEA!
Aww, that's lovely! I'm always surprised to get comments on old fic - there's one I wrote for the most obscure book fandom which gets a comment every month or so and I'm always like "... why?" xD But yes, it is good to see when you get hits as opposed to just comments. I'm guilty of sometimes not leaving comments, mainly through lack of time, but the quick little kudos button is nice if you don't have time to leave a proper one. At least that way they know you liked it.
