(no subject)
ok so heres the earth.
i said i would update last night, but fell asleep. ugh im dumb. so here i am now, updating.
so last week, katie and i went out for the day for my makeup birthday celebration. basically i was an idiot for being all mellow and what not. so katie and i went to city place and we saw the prestige. really really good movie. then after that she took me to saitos, which was really awesome. there was this one group who we ate with, were crazy. i mean, cool crazy. it was a lot of fun. then we went to coldstones after and got ice cream and i took her home after. it was basically the perfect birthday, a week later granted. :)
then there was school. blah. then on friday, we had a day off and i went to lunch with nicole, that was fun, went around the mall and just hung out. after that i went to wb and finished the day off with their practice. saturday i had to go in early for a dress rehersal, which was boring, but i had my laptop, so i was entertained. lol. then marching band for the game. we lost to troy, who would have thunk. so me nicole and chris went with some people to roadhouse in ft lauderdale. its nice there. the one there is so lax in what they do, it makes me wonder still as to why im still employed there. who knows. so then sunday again.
so this past sunday was also amazing. went to church, and then the concert. katie and her mom came. that was really cool, although, i knew they were there on the first song i played in i was fine. then katie came closer to the stage, and on the second song, i just messed up. but thats cuz i have to play some Bb's above the staff, at a really soft dynamic which equals out to really hard to do. whatever. then the we played the gershwin. and im nervous like no other cuz i had some solo parts there. yeah katie basically made me nervous. lol i was afraid to screw up with her there. lol i know. silly me. but hey, it worked, i didnt mess up. instead, on a part that i had always done really well, i royally messed up and apparently i made this face that showed i messed up. but i guess no one noticed. but i did. ugh. it was amazing. i was really glad she came. so after, her and i went to the movies again, saw borat. rediculous as katie put it. lol. then we went bowling, and im in my tux still. so i look really goofy. o well it was fun. took her to checkers and then home and talked to her mom and dad for a good while, and went home. and now its today.
marching band has gotten more interesting. last week we did a beetles show, which actually made us march. i had to basically jazz run, but really was leaping and bounding to the next set. lol. this upcomming show were doing a latin jazz show. which ive never done one before, so im excited, and its really good music too. dr murray said we would actually have a corps like show. so im excited. it should prove really interesting, especially a possible t-bone solo??? lol yeah that would be sweet. this week is states for wb and im going to go. im excited because im on staff this time, and i get to see the performance on the other side at states. but i got to come back on sunday for yet another conert. ugh, im almost concerted out. but not really. so im going to go now. lol.
