I had my PolSci130 oral finals earlier, and I can most definitely say, even if I'm not yet finished studying in the Ateneo, that it was the most fun oral exam. Ever. I was actually prepared to "let it go," because as my friends know, I hate political science and everything under its freakin' complex umbrella.
But lo, when it was our group's turn to take the exam, the theory we picked out of the pile was economic liberalism, and I was like "Oh good, at least I know that theory." I was already running through everything I could remember off that theory, when a groupmate picked the issue, and the issue was about music.
Oohlala. Champion. *clapclap* XDD
Contrary to my belief that I won't be able to say anything in the finals, I actually found a lot to say. I didn't dominate the discussion, mind you, but I did say a lot, even more than what I could say during French oral exams. XDD
First the prof asked Cedric to define what economic liberalism was, and then the others also expounded on the theory. Then the prof asked me...
Ms. Lao: So Stacy, what genre of music do you like?
Moi: Techno industrial. :D
Ms. Lao: Wow, that's something I haven't heard of yet. Where did it originate?
Moi: Umm, I'm not really sure, but I think it originated in Europe, maybe in the underground club scene?
Ms. Lao: Oh okay. So how do you get music from that genre? Do you buy it in stores?
Moi: *small voice* Through Limewire.
So there, after that, the discussion was whether or not downloading helps artists, then it went to piracy (I inserted something I read off Mistula's blog where somebody saw pirated CDs of the band; the band gives you their songs for free through downloading it on their official website btw.), then it went to how we could market and promote OPM artists abroad, like what strategies could be used to promote them and what aspect of OPM can pinpoint that is really "Filipino," and in which language should the songs to be promoted abroad should be used.
So everyone had a lot to say, and the finals went very well for all of us in the group. When I checked my prefinal grade on that subject, I was so surprised that I got a B. OMG. I did well on that polsci class?!! I had no idea at all, seeing that my half of my midterm exam was shit, the other half A (because it was an opinion essay). I'm not bragging here okay, I'm just really really surprised that I got a B for my prefinal grade, also because I cut a lot during the last few meetings of that class. ^^; That really is a nice surprise. It's like an incentive for me to do better in the remaining and next polsci classes we need to take.
But! The day ain't over yet. I went to SM North with
un_coeur_triste earlier and looked around for Halloween stuffs.
WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH SM IS GETTING BETTER IDEAS FOR HALLOWEEN EVERY YEAR!!! They're even selling witches' brooms for only Php50.00, but they're kiddie size. XDD
This is their "Creepy Clutch" goblet, only for Php80.00 XD
I also bought this funky soap (Php20.00) which when submerged in water, makes the water look bloody. XDDD
Awww. Tych has new lumplings! XDD
I bought the big blue eyeball at the glow stall in Megamall last 2001. The red eyeball was given to me by
mizukineige and
shura_17 last 2003 for my birthday, included in the cardboard coffin they made which has a lot of other stuffs (including a pink spider XD) and the small blue eyeball is the floating eyeball I bought earlier, for only Php30.00. XDDDD
Too bad K.Rip's all bagged up in plastic. :( Anyway, This shot of K.Rip and Tych was taken two years ago. The red background you could glimpse is from the cushion lining of the cardboard coffin made by the Euphoria guitarists. :D
And a tweaked picture of Tych taken a few years ago :D Yesh, we are obsessed with eyeballs. XD
Okay Tych, you can go away now. Tych...?
Quit drooling over them.
Lay off the eyeballs. NOW. They won't fit in your eye sockets anyway =p

Now I only have to study for our French long exam tomorrow (SHET FRENCH HISTORY IN FRENCH!), "study" for our Histo165 exam next Tuesday, and make our script for the Jap oral exam next Thursday plus the last three pages of the Jap scrapbook also due on Thursday. Oh, and study for the finals as well. Heheh.
