In that thrice hallow'd Eve abroad,
When Ghosts, as Cottage-Maids believe,
Their pebbled Beds permitted leave,
And Goblins haunt from Fire or Fen,
Or Mine, of Flood, the Walks of Men!

It's already almost Halloween...

Just in case we don't do the trick or treat thing this year, here's where I want to spend the sembreak:

1. La Prairie, Tagaytay.
It's fun to get lost in those empty lots. I think last time my mom and I even found a sort of Crouch End when we made a wrong turn while walking. The wind there is the best, and you'll never, ever feel the noontime sun precisely because it is just too cool to be true.

2. Zambales, in dad's friend's resthouse.
The beach there is immaculately clean; white sand, crystal clear water, super clean shore, tons of mango trees, breezy, no mosquitoes, lots of birds and bamboo, no noise. It's purrfect. You could even sleep on the shore and not worry about some hoodlums dragging you off somewhere.

3. Bacon, Sorsogon.
Oohhh, the caves. A walk on the beach gives you an instant foot massage because of the pebbles. You could collect a bucketful of starfish and sand dollars. Plus, kamayang kainan ng daing at kamatis sa taas ng puno = pure bliss. *sigh*

I hope I could go to any of those three this year, because this year's sembreak is the last real sembreak I'll ever get. x_x
