I'm not changing career paths any time soon, regardless of the apparent drop in need for Aurors these days. It makes sense, I guess, in peacetime, but I generally like what I do and I like to think I'm competent at what I do.
And until someone explicitly comes out and tells me that my services are no longer needed, I am staying right here.
Unless, of course-
I'm so incredibly tired. But what else is new?
Well, tourist season is winding down, slowly but surely. That means more local people present in town and slightly more space to breathe. I was out getting groceries last night and I didn't have to fight my way through the aisles. It was nice.
I spent a day earlier this month visiting Fiona in Stockholm, and it is a very beautiful city. I think I might like to go back one of these days, and visit it properly, because one day obviously wasn't long enough. She's in Copenhagen this weekend, I hope she makes it out remembering what she's done.
It's a Friday night and I don't have to work tomorrow morning, so perhaps I'll make a quick jaunt down to the pub and see what's on the go there.
