October 21st, 1980
My room is an utter mess right now, with all the parchment and notes and books I've got spread over practically every free surface. I think there's a bed and some carpet underneath it all. I'm trying not to make too much noise as Mum and Dad are asleep and they're probably the lightest sleepers I've ever met. But I get most of my work done at this time of night. It's weird, but hey. Whatever works, I guess. It makes getting up in the morning a little more challenging, certainly, but that's really the least of my worries right now.
And, of course, I can't stay away from my niece! Luna's a month old now and she has gotten SO BIG. And she definitely looks like Celeste. It's weird, a Lovegood with light eyes and hair. Anyway. I've taken so many pictures of her. They're all over my room! Well, some are covered with parchment sheets right at this very second.
I'm tired, but there is still work to do. Moving on.
