it's been a good movie-going week.
usually, when I pay to go watch movies in the theater, I try to find something that I like about the movie (probably in an effort to justify spending the money on it). but I love it when I go to a movie and actually enjoy myself, not just find something that I like.
transformers was fun, in an over-the-top-this-is-so-ridiculous sort of way, and having a large cheering audience helped enhance the experience.
and tonight, ratatouille made me laugh and smile. it was cute, in a wow-pixar-is-always-so-clever sort of way. seriously. they're brilliant. and even though the story is really predictable (I mean, it's an animated disney movie), watching it made me happy.
