I remember laying on the couch with a book and a 12 ounce glass of pepsi. pepsi, ice, and a straw. it would be sunny and warm outside, but a little too hot for me to be outside, so instead I'd sit inside reading. with the shade pulled down, so that it wouldn't be too bright.

it's one of those memories of comfort.

I could tell it was nice and warm outside, and that made me comfortable inside.

I kind of have that feeling today, except instead of the book, I have my work computer. instead of the pepsi, I have a mug of earl grey. but it is sunny outside, and I do have the shade pulled down so that it's not so bright. and it's warm. at least it feels warm; I don't think it actually is outside. but it's sunny and bright and I'm comfortable.

so comfortable, that I want to take a nap.

but at least I'm not minding having to work today so much.
