(no subject)
we have a leaky roof. it appears to be coming from a spot that they've obviously done work on before, because there are discolorations on the ceiling, and a gigantic square that has obviously been re-plastered.
started out with two drips last night, and we're up to five now, I think.
the building manager and some roof-guys came to look at it, and then went to the roof to check something out. what will come of that, I'm not so sure.
so for now, we have a bunch of tupperware-type containers on the floor with dish rags in them to catch the water. sophie enjoys playing over there now, because of the dripping water. and trying to pull up the carpet underneath the containers (bad).
but she is instead sitting on my lap right now, which is nice and warm and fuzzy. and a good antidote for my migraine.
