bits and pieces.

I did like the way that my boots sounded on the frozen pavement though.

even though I was deathly afraid of slipping and breaking something.

I was also afraid of the bus tipping over. even though the roads were dry there.

the chains made the ride bumpy. and apparently made top speed only 30 miles per hour.

you never really realize how slow that seems on the freeway until the cars are passing you by at twice the speed you're going. I suppose it would have been worse if the bus didn't have chains.

at least the heater is working. the high temperature was somewhere around freezing. it's unlikely that it got warm enough for the automatic thermostat to turn the heater off, making it difficult for it to fail to turn back on.

I haven't read in a long time. that makes me sad. and feel stupid.

I hate february, still.

it was cold today, but the sky was so blue. there were people on the bridge watching the sun set.

I need to hang more of my pictures/postcards on my wall. they make me happy. as do the pink christmas lights.

my hair is long enough to fit in a short ponytail. I'm going to hawaii in two months.

and I've forgotten the rest.

I guess I'll go hug the radiator again.
