third time's the charm?
so. my mom has been wanting to go watch serenity with me for a while. last week, we tried to go see it at bella botega, at 11:40am, because that's what the paper said they had a showing for. (that or 10:00pm.) we go to the theater, it's not on their board. they have the nighttime showing, but not the late morning one. the kid looks bewildered, and tells us that the paper was wrong, that they only have the night showing. he offers zathura (no), capote (wasn't in the mood for that), or pride and prejudice (already saw it the week before).
my mom tried to go to the nighttime showing, but it was late, and at the start of that bout of wintery weather that we had. icy roads, snow, etc. so I made her stay home and watch house with us instead. she was disappointed. but we all like the show.
cut to: december 5th, 12:05pm. imdb's movietimes shows that bella botega is showing serenity at 11:40am, tuesday december 6th. you can buy the tickets on fandango, even. we call the theater, they have it listed.
all I have to say is, it'd better be there tomorrow when we get to the theater. and I'm going to be pissed if it was there last week and the kid/showtimes board in their boxoffice just weren't telling the truth.
