ah, hello, I know you don't know me and this is anciently old, so I'm wondering if you'll ever get this, but I figured it was worth a shot anyway. I noticed you had caps of Dead Poets Society over at dj_capslock, but the links were expired, and when I clicked the link that took me to this journal it said the entry was protected. I was just wondering if you could let me use them, 'cause you're seriously the ONLY person I've been able to find cool enough to cap the movie and I wanted to make a moodtheme of it, so it would totally make my life a milliion times easier.
Sorry for rambling there. :x Thanks in advance. :)
Hey, I would love to help you out but, unfortunately, I won't be able to get those to you for a month or two. You see, I had capped them and had them on my desktop back home. When I was getting ready to move, I decided to move all my screencaps to CDs but the CD that had Dead Poets Society on it got corrupted and I didn't find out until AFTER I had deleted them from my computer. So I can cap the movie again for you but I won't be able to do it until I go home for Spring Break, which is at the end of March, unless I happen to get to go home before that. Unfortunately, that's the best I can offer you. If you're willing to wait, I will DEFINITELY do them for you. Sorry for all the trouble!
Oh, it's certainly no trouble on my side! Don't worry, I'll wait. It's probably better that way, anyway, considering I have classes I should be focused on until about the same time. XD Thanks so much for going through all that. :)
Haha I spent most of my Holiday Break in December/January reading HP (I finished the first five) and then I went home for a three-day weekend (my school is four hours away from home so I rarely go home) and I basically didn't sleep on Friday or Saturday and finished reading the last two books. AND THEN I rented the movies from Blockbuster and I'm like.. so in love with HP right.
Holy crap, you finished the whole series in one big swing like that? Oo; I've been reading them for the past nine years, so I cheated...I've only had to read this last one. It killed me inside. D: I should be used to my favourite characters kicking the bucket, but that one was so unexpected and horrible...
Yeah I was pretty dedicated haha. I had read the first five before but never found time for the last two and then I bought the whole series in the collector's set thing and so I felt I had to read them. The last book was devastating, but a nice ending. I think I was saddest during the fifth book though.. I very much liked Sirius.
Yeah, George was still around, but I think that made it harder. They were so close, you know? I can't imagine George ever being even close to the same again...
Remus and Tonks mostly upset me because they got like, half a sentence of recognition. I almost missed it. I remember responding with, "WTF, WHEN?" :/
Yeah, Remus's death especially made me mad because ever since reading shoebox_project, I've like the Marauders about 100 times more than any of second gen kids. ...except for Fred and George, of course. (and maybe Neville. :x)
Oh, you should! It's epicly long, and it's Remus/Sirius slash, but it's so absolutely brilliant...you'll finish it and start beliving that it's canon. Honestly.
I suprisingly dislike Harry, to be honest. I find him annoying. I liked Hermione until the sixth book, when she became a whining love-sick girl like everybody else...but I like Ron? :x
Sorry for rambling there. :x Thanks in advance. :)
