A Comeback.
Okay so yeah I know I haven't updated in the longest time, but really I just didn't feel like writing. It's not like I actually forgot about this place, as I usually do with all my other accounts... I just didn't feel like visiting it. Now with all the homework I don't want to do however... It brings me back here.
Umm let's see not much has been going down I guess. Katie and I went to Fabricland yesterday to pick up some fabric for our Tinkerbelle/Evil Tinkerbelle Halloween costumes and let me tell you... The fabric that we picked up was super awesomeness! It was just like the coolest thing ever! And surprisingly cheap! :D Plus we found this pattern that Katie has now for Tinkerbelle's costume but for like a 6 year old so I think we're gonna try and modify that to fit us... But let's see if we actually understand the pattern to start off with :D
Then we went to visit toy stores. I now officially hate that toy store. Eventhough it had that present for you know who Katie, but really. They made us walk all the way up and down that friggen deserted mall and for what? To come across a store selling Tamagotchi's for more than even Toys R Us! I'm sorry, but that's just insane.
Then we visited a couple other toy stores and much to our dismay, they weren't selling what we were looking for :( Which brought us to our little trip to Indigo in hopes of trying to cheer our moods up, only to find that they didn't have anything we wanted. Seriously. It was just one disappointment after another!
Ah but then I remembered that there was a Toys R Us fairly close to my house and so we high tailed it on down there and found the one, the only, new Tamagotchi's! Which were selling for like 16.99! So pretty dayam sweet if you ask me :P Only thing is we couldn't figure out why the packs that had two Tamagotchi's in them were selling for a dollar more than if you just bought two Tamagotchi's separately... Yeah, don't ask. But we got to walk down the Barbie isle! Dear god, some of those Barbie's are just insane!
Oh! That led us to the "Princess" isle with this super awesome tv set. It was a princess tv set, but it was super duper cool! They also had a princess cd player that was shaped like this huge jewelery box and then a princess phone!! It was crazy, but they were actually really cool.
Oh and then turn around and guess what we found.... Sky Dancers!!! That's right! They're selling Sky Dancers again! It's weird though because of course, as with every old childhood favourite, they have switched the characters around and made them slightly different, but it was pretty close to the original sky dancers... And they can fly! :P
Ah and that was the conclusion of our day. Wonderful wasn't it?
But now I'm stuck dreading my Illustration homework. I mean I guess it's not so bad 'cause all I have to do is draw about Global Warming, but I just don't feel like doing it really. But I should... Because I also have life drawing homework I have to do on wednesday... Plus laundry and all that good stuff. *sighs* Ah well, that's life I spose!
