Wow. This week has been... Hm. Full. Yep. Full of some amazing, make-me-wanna-jump-and-dance stuff... some miserable, make-me-wanna-curl-up-under-my-desk-and-cry stuff... and even some infuriating, make-me-wanna-stab-some-eyeballs-out stuff. Yep. Yep..
Kinda weird, in calc. today, I was just looking at the clock and thinking "an hour and forty minutes... why? Do I really need to be here right now? All I really wanna do right now is curl up in Laurel's bed with as many people as humanly possible". That's right, Laurel's bed -- not my bed! I kinda figured out over the course of that class period, Laurel's bed is my safe spot. No matter what's wrong, or how badly my world is caving in, I can go sit on her bed and everything's okay again. The rug and the couch don't work as well, and neither do anyone else's rooms. The only other place that even comes close is the TV lounge -- but only if the TV is off and there are people in there. I just thought it was interesting...
Sunday night, I stayed up 'til 6AM doing my FYS webpage, then woke up for chem at 7AM. I had my American Gov't and Politics midterm that day... so, being severely low on sleep, I did the only natural thing to do in such situations -- I ate as much sugar and caffeine as possible before the test. The result? Well. My essay was based on the idea of Jesus Christ running for president in 2008 as a 3rd party candidate. Hmmm.... Well, it made perfect sense to me. :)
