I just found out that my school show is the same weekend Fiddler opens. Everyone told me before that it was the first weekend in March, so I thought I could do both, but now there is absolutely no way I can. Not only would the shows conflict, but tech week would be at the same exact time.

Reasons I should do Godspell:
I auditioned for it first.
I already know I have a good part in it. (Sonia)
I've never worked with the director before and if I quit he'll probably hate me.
Some of my best friends are in it.
3 people already dropped out.
I don't even know if I'll get the part I want in Fiddler, or if I'll even get in.

Reasons I should do Fiddler:
I've had my heart set on it since I first found out they were doing it.
Camden is Fyedka and Josh is Motel.
It's SRT and Mainstage and that counts for a lot more than a high school show on a resume.
There are only a few shows I can actually do at SRT that have parts for people my age.
Seacoast Rep is my favorite place ever and I love it.
I'll probably know like the entire cast and be friends with at least half the people.
If I get into Fiddler I wont feel like such a failure for not getting into Godspell.
I will probably cry if I go see it and someone else is the part I wanted and I know that I didn't even get to try out.

Someone help me. And don't tell me to do my school show just so one less person is trying out for Fiddler... don't be an asshole. I have no idea what to do... this sucks.
