ON Sat, I shoveled and haulded gravel for a little over an hour at an animal shelter. It was ALOT of work. Then did about 3 hours of grocery shopping and about 7 hours of cooking (I am trying the cook once a month plan). So, now my freezer if full of nicely packaged foods--Yay. I planned to rest on Sunday after church, but there was still a little food preparation I needed to do and then the rabbit cage needed to be fixed, so no veg time.

I hauled everything out of the kid's rooms on Monday and made them sort through everything before it went back into their room. There is still some putting away work that needs to be done (some items are still in laundry baskets), but the rooms look (and smell) SO MUCH better.

I took all of our homeschool books to a booksale last night- 7 boxes of books. Sold maybe 1/2 and made about $200. We are really trying to reduce the amount of stuff we have and pay off the credit card this year. That should pay for the gas to Sapphire and the Golden Rose tourney, so we don't have to budget for it!!

We are having a yard sale at a friend's house at the end of the month, so I need to start stacking and pricing for that. Problem is, with all of the cleaning and hauling I have been doing over the last 5 days, I am tired! I actually thought about staying home from Sapphire this weekend, but there are some folks joining Clan Ebonwoulfe that I love and I really want to be there for them.

Tonight Jordan tries out for a year long drama program. There will be at least 200 kids trying out for 50 spots. The try-out is almost 2 hours long! It is a free program, but is in Greenville and will be twice a week all next school year...hopefully I can find someone to carpool with!!
