Pairing/Fandom- Bumblebee/Sam [Transformers: Movie ‘Verse]

Warnings: Rating wavers from PG to R

Song 1- I Miss You by Blink 182

He had lived for eons, but for some reason he couldn’t help but be fearful over a carbon based life form that would only be in his life for a short while. It was inevitable that Sam was going to pass away long before his own lifespan expired- but the thought made his spark dim in unimaginable levels. His findings on the web called it ‘heart ache’. But usually this condition seemed to occur to those who were facing the loss of a love one, not when their other was still alive and well.

But the numbers stared him in the optics, Sam’s lifespan would only continue for an approximate 50 years or so, and the Autobot would miss him terribly.

Song 2- Snow [Hey Oh] by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Sam thought back on his life and realized that he really hadn’t done anything with it until Bumblebee came into it. Now it was nearly painful for him to separate himself from the bot, if only for the fact he was always there for him [and just the whole saving his life thing] and he really was Sam’s best friend.

He never got bored talking with Bee and hearing about everything his friend had learned over the thousands of years he had been alive. But the more he learned about him, the more questions he had. There were times that Bumblebee was distant and he wanted to know where his mind wandered off to. That was another thing- did the robots even really have a mind or was it just a huge processor like on those tricked out computers? He wondered about it, but he had nowhere to go to other than Bee and the rest of the Autobots.

Song 3- The Kids Aren’t Alright by The Offspring

Sam had wanted normal, it had been his goal since the defeat of Megatron. He had thought about his childhood and realized he had at one time wanted to be on some crazy adventure- and now all he wanted to do was get off one. This meant leaving Bumblebee behind. While he was packing for college he couldn’t help but feel the extreme guilt that ached in his gut. He hadn’t talked to Bee about not going but he could already imagine his reaction to the news.

“Hurry up!” His Dad called down the stairs and it was then that he realized that the only thing holding him up from talking to his car was the one lonely box in his arms. He braced himself for the inevitable

Song 4- The Reason by Hoobastank

Sam put on a brave front when he confronted Bumblebee, telling the extreme lie that freshmen weren’t allowed to have cars. It tore him up inside and he knew Bee could see through his lie. Just the look on his face made Sam’s heart twist in pain and all he wanted to do was digress- but he had already made up his mind.

If the human was being perfectly honest with both of them the whole “protection is over” was a complete lie. He had started to dream about Bee, wondered if it was possible to fall in love with him. What it would be like to be with him and that wasn’t normal. As he walked out of the garage he heard the lyrics softly in the background.

“The reason for all that I do…And the reason is you…”

Sam tried to damnest not to cry.

Song 5- Let it Rock by Kevin Rudolf

“When I arrive… I bring the fire… make you come alive…” Sam growled at the quickly fluctuating radio, rolling his eyes at the song his car chose.

“This is not the time to… oh God…” Sam trailed off as Bee’s holoself thrust into him quickly and heard him chuckle as his alien boyfriend sang along with the lyrics that were now blaring out of the speaker system.

“… I can take you higher”  Bumblebee started to match the thrusts with the music’s beat as Sam moaned helplessly and grabbed at the leather upholstery in front of him for something to hold onto. The engine purred deeply at the duel sensation.
