Corks Poppin' All Around
There are a few reasons to indulge in some champagne today, but the biggest and best is that my husband and I are celebrating 20 years of marriage. All I can say is, Wow! Where the hell did all those years fly? I hope the next 20 slow down a bit so we can enjoy them even more.
So...it's also publication day for me. Well, really ... my Open Letters review of Margot Livesey's The House on Fortune Street was up on June 1. My Parenting on the Peninsula article on local competitive youth swimming clubs didn't arrive on the web till last night. My article is on pg. 12-13 and that's my daughter swimming her heart out in the accompanying photo.
