I committed myself to getting a new countertop for the kitchen.
The one I have is awful - stained in a few spots, and chipped and doesn't clean well. I hate it. So I figured out how I could afford a new countertop and went and checked around and finally signed the contract.
I now have to get a plumber to disconnect the sink and reconnect it afterwards. But it won't be happening for a couple of months yet.
