Giant Pony - I'm a Idiot
Okay so I have this journal but hardly ever post; maybe it's because there is so much outside of my own thoughts (work, facebook; toys; fanfic; crafting; games; ebay; family; friends; turnkey on Thursday; other crap) - I don't use twitter even when i did use twitter because I've only ever used it from my phone but now that I can get directly on facebook with phone what is the purpose of twitter? It's just a middleman.
It's not that I don't want to share the coolness that is my life (sarcasm) it's just that I've let my worst trait (ability to get distracted by shinny objects) take over. And facebook is great for updates but you can't really type out a long journal entry on facebook or you'll look like one of those people who copy and paste those useless messages that are what chain mail used to be. OMG, if you love the world then post this to all your friends so they can be annoy so they'll copy/past and annoy they're friends and family with useless random no point posts.
I mean, people need to post they're own thoughts and not some random message from someone else. IF you're going to post at least let it be your own.
So my something to say is about ebay; so I had this rule, I was not going to spend over $100 on one My Little Pony. For those people that know me, they know I love MLP - I've only been collecting the little plastic beasts since 1983.
SO once I discovered ebay back in 1996 - no spending a wad of cash, the most I'll do is $100 and that's pushing my cheap minded mentality on this crap. I know for some people even $100 makes them think I'm crazy.
Anyway, So they created this big ass 18" monster pony, apparently famous people designed them for Hasbro or some kinda yada-yada My Little Pony related stuff that I'm too lazy to remember What it was about - Okay I like MLP but I'm not the info machine for the goings on in the world wide community. I just know the monster pony is something that is kinda OMG I gotta have me one of them; even if it's just to go HA I got me one of them!
A fellow pony collector who is a good friend, she got her two of them - and I my brain says I can't own that damn thing I'll customize the hell out of it and decrease it's value. It's not something I should own or spend my cash on. NO, not gonna do it. And I'll never come across one to buy anyway so, yay, no worries right? Right?
Well screw ebay to hell and back.
I happen to be online this morning and I was only going to make contests for ponyisland (Don't ask if you don't know, another addiction). I put some dolls on ebay for sale last night and after i finished PI crap I wanted to just check ebay and see if anyone was watching my auctions. Well, dumb me had to do a MLP search just to browse ponies and damn if that 18" monster wasn't plaster up on my screen. That &!@$% pony! NO! Don't look! (Thats what I'm thinking).
That damn demon is tempting me. $200 buy it now, no...wait I could do that (don't do it Karen you idiot) It's $35 shipping you idiot. Then there is that little string of text that reads; make an offer.
Make an offer! Nooo...Evil. Okay $135, that's it. The person is in California so I'll never get a reply because the auction will end before....Okay, that counteroffer came back kinda quick, they'll take $175...damnit...
Noo, don't do it.

Yea, end of story is I bought a monster pony.
