Pirates and Teenagers...
Okay so I wanted to post this on Saturday, but my computer decided it would be funny to not want to start up. I'm still not sure what happened but I wound up having to completely wipe it out and start over. I didn't loose anything because thankfully I had just backed things up.
Now onto your regularly scheduled update.
I saw PotC At Worlds End on Saturday. Honestly I loved it! I know a lot of people have said it was hard to follow and there was too much going on, but I had no problems at all keeping track of what was going on. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I have watched the first two way too many times? It was so funny because after the movie was over, the two guys that were sitting in front of us said that they didn't understand the plot of the movie at all. And as they walked out they said something about not having seen the first two movies. WTF? You haven't seen the other two movies, but you expected to understand the third one?
Anyway I probably won't write a review until after I get to see it again on Saturday. But here are a few of my favorite parts in no particular order. If you haven't seen it yet don't click on the cut below!
First of all let me get my fangirly moment out of the way. How hot was Will? Especially at the end. He really is a pirate now. He has changed so much since we were first introduced to him way back in COTBP. Orlando really did an excellent job! Okay, I'm done!
The scene with the multiple Jacks. You can never have too many Jack Sparrow's can you?
The whole "up is down" scene.
Jack voting for Elizabeth to be the Pirate King.
When Jack tells Gibbs that he can throw his hat and then tells him to go get it.
Will and his tea cup.
When the Flying Dutchman resurfaces and we get our first look at Captain Turner.

Barbossa stealing the Black Pearl again.
Jack back on his little boat. And did anyone else notice the little red sparrow on Jack's Pirate flag, or was I seeing things?
My absolute favorite part was the scene at the end of the credits.
I know there are others but I can't think of them right now. I'll probably remember once I see it again.
Okay does anyone want to guess my least favorite part? That's right when Will got stabbed. I was so shocked when that happened. And you know what? That's why I love all 3 of these movies, they have always surprised me. I'm glad that didn't change, It doesn't mean I'm happy about what they did to Will, But you know these movies have always been about Jack. I really think the whole point of that happening to Will was to prove that Jack really is the good man that Elizabeth accused him of being in dmc. I think that Jack really does care about Will and Elizabeth. The look on his face when Will was stabbed was enough to convince me that yes, Jack Sparrow, the selfish pirate really does care about someone other than himself. Honestly, I would have been disappointed if Jack would have stabbed the heart himself, and let Will die. Especially since the writers have been saying that when Will comes back after 10 years that he is free of the curse because Elizabeth was faithful to him.
Wow if you read all that I owe you a cookie.
And now before I shut up I just have to mention how awesome Johnny Depp is!
In other news I finally saw MCR's video for Teenagers. I know I could have watched it online yesterday,but I wanted to wait and see it on TV first. It's not the best video they've done, but I don't hate it either. I know i'm in the minority when I say that I actually kind of like it.
