The Doctor and Rose haaaave begun talking in my head again, but tentatively... I want to try. I have the time, if not the best means to write.
I'm not sure I'm up to writing any Classic Doctor yet, though I'm working on becoming more than just passingly acquainted with them. I don't know if I'll ever manage Eleven. And omg, BINGO would be IMPOSSIBLE.
You know, I recently posted a bed-sharing prompt to My Other Fandom's kinkmeme, but the only stuff ever posted to there is spam, now.
If I were to theoretically take that one up...smut or no smut? Just UST? Hmmm.
I was writing in my head some on the drive to bff's. If I can think of a decent framework, I'll give it a go. I guess I'm also ascared of writing...what did J call it? Paint-by-numbers Doctor/Rose fic? We're all so jaded now, and I don't want to write crap.
Sure. But I despair of it ever getting done. I tossed around this idea for a long, LONG time and got so bogged down in the framework (why the bed, where the bed, etc.) that I couldn't even begin writing.
It used to come so (relatively) easy. I don't think I've written any fic in six months. And it'd probably been just as long before I wrote THAT one. Actual Doctor Who stuff (aside from a joke-challenge Rose meets River drabble thing), not in TWO YEARS.
