Heading South, Finally
Dear Journal and Friends--well, the summer at the cottage is finally coming to a close--it seems so long to me! Of course, having dial up instead of DSL sure doesn't help any! Can't Wait to get home and see the children and their familes, etc!
My HOL courses have started and seem to have a bunch of enthusiastic students in them, so the term should be great fun. I don't plan on being as ill as I was last term, either (from that awful allergy to the dentist's topical anesthesia)! I also am writing some book reviews for a couple of newspapers and that will be fun. I just have to read more--LOL!
Hurricanes are running rampant in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico--and their remnants have even showed up here in central NY! Lots of rain and even some gusty winds. Thank the heavens, we haven't had any damage so far in the FL home.
