At the Lake
Dear Journal and Friends--Here we are at the central New York cottage--my husband has been fishing, boating, and "puttering" and I am counting the days to return to Florida--LOL! I have never been a "water" person. Maybe that's why I am a Hufflepuff/Badger--solid ground for me! I do kayak, but mostly stick close to the shoreline--anyway, one can see more wildlife along there.
The family is doing well. My daughter is moving her dance studio closer to her house (and mine, too). She will have to pay a lot more rent in the new place, but it will be close to six subdivisons and two schools, so we hope that she will get more students. She doesn't really need all this new stress, but she's committed to this career. Her MS will eventually prevent her from dancing professionally, so it's probably good that she builds the studio business up now.
My older son and his wife are heading for Portugal to visit her relatives and sightsee. Wish I was going--LOL! I am sure they will have a most wonderful time! Someday, I will get "over there"!
Can't wait for the final HP book! And, the fifth movie is coming right up, too! At least these will keep me entertained for a few days! I have been doing a lot of reading, which is one of my favorite things to do. But, my BookCrossing book club chapter is in Florida, so I miss our monthly meetings.
