You know who I forgot to mention in my Conflux report? Keri Arthur. Keri is a pistol, and she's one of the most amazingly successful authors Australia has ever produced. But because she writes paranormal romance, she gets snubbed and ignored -- even though she's a multiple New York Times bestselling novelist. I tell you, it pisses me off no end. She is a raging success story and the establishment pretends she doesn't exist.
I don't care a fat rat's bum if you like her genre or not. That isn't the bloody point! The point is she's flying the Australian flag on the international stage with amazing success. And she should be applauded and congratulated, not ignored.
