1. It's 3am, and I'm watching Frank Langella as Dracula. I love this one, but I'd rather be watching Gary Oldman as Dracula. Is Count Dracula the greatest name of all time? I think it's up there. I'm really excited about the new Dracula series on NBC this fall with Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I loved him so much in The Tudors.
2. I'm finally using the Kindle I got for Christmas. It's always the getting started that's hard for me. Pat set it all up for me though, so that helped. I like it better than I thought I would. I'm reading The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Praag at the recommendation of sparroweye. It's all magical, so of course I'm enjoying it.
3. I've been isolating myself and haven't kept up with friends at all. I'm sorry about that. I miss everyone. I need this card to send out:
4. I have a new drug in my arsenal, and I'm so hoping it's going to help. I'm supposed to be able to tell at least something in another week.
5. One of my favorites of Picasso:

I love everything about it. I want to swim in those colors.
6. This is the first year in many many years that I have done absolutely no gardening. Not even a minute's worth! My flowers are still blooming in spite of my neglect. But no Sungold tomatoes for my salads! That makes me sad.
7. Xanax is just modern day Laudanum given to us nervous women. I think I'd rather have the Laudanum.
