Figuratively Speaking...(or writing, as it is)
Imagine, for a moment, that when we were born, we were issued one set of clothes that we have to wear every day for the rest of our lives. What would your clothes look like now? What if you were on stage for everyone to see? How would you feel in those clothes?
I know for me, my clothes would be so tattered after all I've been through and I would feel like it was all showing.
I imagine THAT is the equivalent of our self-image. The funny thing is, the only one aware of my "tattered clothes" is me. The only way any other being could be aware is if my awareness reflected on my face and in my demeanor.
