Nanook is a mensch
Nanook knows what's coming (that I'm going to squirt antibiotic down his throat), but he sits still for it, though he closes his mouth and I swear he tries to hold his breath--which, of course, makes it easier to get his mouth open. I would definitely ask for liquid medication as a choice next time I have to medicate him.
The alarming red coloration is gone. There's a definite scab, and he rubs it, but not excessively.
He is the best cat in the world. But I'm still glad I had his claws trimmed when I took him to the vet.:)
