Hmm, a simple update?
We had our crazy weather week, like most of the country. Fortunately where we live mud and/or flooding is not an issue at all. Driving was pretty stressful because I'm a wimp. Also it was cold. Really cold, and I couldn't wear my flannel lined jeans to work.
We still have most of our gambling winnings hidden in a drawer. We did live wild and buy a Food Saver. Husband really loves to cook and since we love meat we shop the specials. We've had our old one practically since they came out so we deserved a new pretty shiny one that takes up less counter space and has all sorts of features the old one doesn't have.
Our satellite box decided it wanted early retirement. We've had it less than a year, but it went spazzy this week. It recorded episodes of shows that weren't new, recorded shows that we never watch and got its internal clock all scrambled. Fortunately DishNetwork is kindly sending us a new one. Also we've been blaming the odd stops in the middle of shows and strange sound scrambles on the dish itself, so we hope the box was responsible for all those problems.
