I have taken a few days to think about the next step in my Personal Mission Statement (see my previous post). This step is about goals.
I have a feeling I may have left something out or that I may have rushed the wording, but I know goals are sometimes changeable, and I want to finish the last step soon. I can always review later.
Step 4: Identify Goals. Spend some time thinking about your priorities in life and the goals you have for yourself.
Make a list of your personal goals, perhaps in the short-term (up to three years) and the long-term (beyond three years).
MY GOALS:
To find a job I can put my heart into (but not my soul).
To make time for my (many) hobbies.
To prepare for my "retirement."
To reduce the things I do not need in my life.
To travel, wisely.
To eat well and nutritiously, but not in excess.
To be healthy, to enjoy sports, and to focus on the rhythm of movement.
To bring more music into my life.
To find joy in small things, and to help others however minutely.
To find happiness in a big way.
