Wow, I've never been in an earthquake, what did it feel like?

It felt like the building was "swaying" back and forth slightly, and lasts longer than the truck you *think* is going past should be going past! I was thinking at first the truck, but many large trucks go past my building constantly with no tremors. :| You can physically feel there is motion in the entire building, and I'm on the 17th floor...
