What I am thankful for this year
In a lot of ways, this has been a good year- maybe not all good, but I have plenty to be thankful for. Here are the highlights:
Our son is engaged to a wonderful young woman whom we love already.
Our daughter is in her senior year at ASU and is doing well at school; and in May she will be home for a while.
I sold a short story! With my limited short story output, that's a 16% sell rate.
I have a job that pays well, doing work I enjoy (most of the time).
I have lots of good friends!
I got to go to three conventions in 2010, and one of them was World Fantasy.
I have a new Kindle 3.
Tomorrow I get to eat a turkey dinner, and I only have to make pumpkin pie.
