One more time with feeling
I have an interview on Wednesday for a _full-time job_ at Algonquin College in the School of Business. I have to teach a half hr lesson, do a test, and answer questions. The lesson is to be on parallel structure, which is quite dull, but useful. I am thinking of how I present it, because having a fantastic lesson will be crucial.
There may be incumbents who have priority, as has been the case in at least 2 of my last 3 interviews with the school board. I need to go in as a contender, though: go big or go home!
Meanwhile, Lita Skeeter, whom I met at Misti Con, sent me a lovely gift: a recording of my talks at Las Vegas and Toronto. I had so much fun listening to them today. They really are pretty good, and it's an impetus to make a book of my 5 or so Harry Potter talks.
