I was a pretty reluctant Rocky Horror attendee yesterday (though glad to see my HP friends), but I ended up enjoying watching the movie and the antics of the audience below (we were in the balcony.) I especially liked when everyone waved coloured lights during "there's a light." A group acted out the whole story in front of the stage, but I was more interested in the movie itself. Damn, Tim Curry was so cheeky and sexy.
The movie took me right back to when I first saw it with friends, when I was about 17. It was so new, cool, and alternative, and we did the time warp and sang "sweet transvestite" and "in just seven days I can make you a man" during the movie and many times after.
I remember that enthusiasm and I remember being so "alternate" with all my "alternate" friends, and loving it.
