Title: Hitchhiker
Character/Pairing: Chloe Sullivan, Faith Lehane
Rating: PG
Warnings/Notes: crossover with BtVS/Angel
She picked her up on the side of the road. Chloe wasn't one to pick up hitchhikers, but she figured what the hell. She usually lived dangerously, so why stop now? So she picked up the brunette girl (whose name was Faith), and they drove in silence for awhile before the brunette finally spoke.
"So what are you running from?" she asked, and Chloe was surprised at the question (how could she tell she was running), then shrugged.
"Life, I guess." The answer was honest enough.
Faith sighed. "Life has a way of catching up to you. Let's run faster."

He stumbled over his words, and in all honesty, he seemed far too young to be an FBI agent. He spoke too quickly when he was excited, knew far too much (and read far too quickly), and his multiple PhDs could be a little intimidating. Especially since he was only a few years older than her. But he was sweet (if a little bumbling), he made her laugh, and he looked at her like she hung the moon.
Yes, Chloe decided, she was definitely falling for Dr. Spencer Reid.
The cool thing? He seemed to be falling for her, too.

Chloe looked at the incredibly handsome FBI agent in front of her. Derek Morgan, apparently. She tried not to think of Garcia's (inappropriate) nicknames for him. "Penelope Garcia's on vacation. I'm the tech that's filling in for her."
"This is the BAU. Are you sure you can handle the things we see?"
Chloe arched a brow. After the various missions she'd gone on with Oliver and the guys? She'd seen the worst of humanity. Very little surprised her anymore. Although she was a little surprised that FBI agents could be so darned attractive.
"I'll think I'll be just fine."

Maria DeLuca sighed, looking at the blonde across from her. After the whole 'aren't alien boys stupid and oblivious' spiel had worn thin, she and Chloe Sullivan had fallen into silence. The young reporter sipped her coffee.
"I'm not sure it's because they're aliens, though," Chloe said, referring to the constant troubles she had with the oblivious Clark and Maria had with the emotionally distant Michael.
Maria scowled. "If it's not because they're aliens, then what is it?" she wanted to know, and Chloe heaved out a sigh of her own, making a face.
"They're boys, Maria. They're... just boys."

She was startled at first, because he looked so much like Bart... But the scar on his throat and the haunted eyes told her it wasn't. It was someone else. Besides... What in the world would Bart Allen be doing at a journalist's convention?
"Can I help you?" His voice was soft, scratchy. Probably because of whatever had caused that scar.
"I'm sorry. You just... Look like someone I used to know." She held out her hand to shake. "I'm Chloe Sullivan."
He seemed surprised (maybe people avoided him because of the scar), then he shook her hand. "Reed Garrett."
