My shows...?
AWAKE has been cancelled. DAMN it!!! I liked Jason Issacs in this "little show that could." Such a cool premise, good writing, good acting

So sad about Awake... for one glorious season, two of my favorite actors, Jack Davenport and Jason Issacs, had big roles in weekly shows.

I'm doing ok in the "TV I love renewal" department. Burn Notice looks like it's running strong (new season in exactly a month... can't wait), Game of Thrones got a season 3 after the astronomically high number of people who tuned in to the season 2 opener, Fringe is getting a half-season (I think) to round out the story, which I'm fine with. I haven't been as happy with this season as I have been in the past. And Community got renewed, which makes me SUPER happy.

Now that I've read the list, I'm sad about Alcatraz. I watched a couple of episodes, and I REALLY liked it. I just never managed to get caught up.

Heh... Terra Nova got cancelled? BIG shock there. I tried to watch it. I love dinosaurs. LOVE THEM. I was a kid who thought that dinosaur toys were fine companions for barbies (they were the same size as Barbie...), and I could pronounce all of the scientific names. So for me to GET BORED by a show about dinosaurs would be REALY HARD. But they did it.

And... those are my totally unsolicited reactions to renewals and cancellations.

I know, me too! Jack Davenport and Jason Issacs, BOTH on U.S. TV? Too good! Well, at least one is still here, as SMASH was re-upped. I will say nothing about the finale so as not to spoil you. ;-) and hopefully Issacs lands on his feet, as he had an Exec. credit. Not sure if that was negotiated or if he invested some of the Harry Potter money, but...fingers crossed for more CASE HISTORIES...or some other roles worthy of his abilities.

Glad your favs got renewed! Yeah, I always meant to get into Alcatraz, but timing for me...And have only seen clips of FRINGE. Must see GAME OF THRONES as well. No time. (And no cable. Netflix is our friend.)

TERRA NOVA? HA! Loved your commentary! I saw one episode and it seemed to be all about who's-the-leader and power plays and character gamesmanship...yawn. Meh. Could have been set anywhere, really. But when you're spending a million an ep. on dinosaurs (or however much $$), wouldn't you THINK they'd bother with some interesting dinosaur action? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?..... But to engender... boredom? What a waste.
